Default 997 key shell for 996?

Does anyone know if you can change the blade and board from a standard 996 key head to a 997 key head? I know you can do this with the 911 gt style key head that sun coast sells, just unsure if the same applies for the 997 key. Thx

It is my understanding that the circuit board shape does not fit. Also, it is the circuit board, blade AND the RFID pill that needs to go in another head.

133$ for a piece of plastic ... I have done it too ... but I think it is outrageous after I see the lack of finishing touch.

Totally agree, I did it too, works great. But I was underwhelmed by the build quality.
