Hi All, first post here, I couldn't find a response to my question elsewhere but apologies if this has been covered already.
I am exporting my UK RHD 2004 car to France and I need to replace the headlight units to pass the French controls. I have found some second hand LHD xenons, part numbers 99663105621 VR 12E and 99663105521 VL 83. They are being sold without the control units.
Will these work in my car without changing the control unit ?
You should be able to swap the control units that are on the back of the headlights.
The control units for LHD and RHD use the same part number. But the part numbers you gave are not the exact same ones as we have in the US.
They could be a superseded part number, or knowing France's unique lighting requirements, they probably have their own part numbers.
