As coop said, call your local dealer.
Here in Hawaii the core charge was $4k but others have stated $2-$2.5K

The dealers around here are very high on price for regular parts. I’ll try them though.

Or find someone that's close to another more reasonable dealer. Some have quoted $6-7K for short blocks from Porsche
