YES! You can clay ANY painted surface. I even clay the windows and rubber trim, just be sure you use a log of lubricant on the rubber.

Ok cool! The wheels aren't painted though, I would just hate to ruin the finish on them.....??

The wheels most likely have both paint and clear coat on them. An unfinished wheel would look bad very quickly.

Whatever it's painted with, if it can stand up to a wash and wax then it can stand up to a clay bar. Just be sure to use lots of the lubricant!

Those are Panamera factory wheels.

Do I need to clay it again, polish then wax" I will go to BMW and let you know how I make out, its in the same lot as the Porsche dealer so maybe I will test drive a new one

I think those might be Carrera Classic wheels for the 997. Used on the 911 and possibly also Cayman?
Example:

Another example

Love the looks of these on the 996. I've got the "Turbo Look" on my '99 C4 and have been looking for a good replacement. After seeing the OP's car with these I am liking the simple style.

Personally I do not like the turbo wheels, I feel it really gives it the Boxster look. I just checked out the link and that seems like a small price to pay to upgrade the look if the car.

HAHA My better half made me search the country and wait for white and I am glad she did! I would have bought one a long time ago if color wasn't a factor...
