What a shock to return home and find you've been violated. Hope they catch the ba$tards with your Porsche and other items.

That just totally sucks in just about every way imaginable. Fortunately our cars are relatively rare in numbers and stand out like sore thumbs. I wonder if your local PCA Chapter could put out a BOLO (be on the lookout) for your car. Porsche drivers really notice other Porsche cars. One other thought, isn't there a national database of stolen vehicle VIN numbers...or maybe the cops investigating have already done that. Sorry about the disruption to your life.

I agree, you may want to post the VIN# or at least the last four digits. I also let the local dismantler know to watch for the car.

I think these "silent, scary house invasions" happen more often than we think. My own brother living in Paris France had similar bad experience few years back. The whole family was asleep upstairs and the thief(ves) came through back door or garage's door and took his wallets, laptops, camera, cell phones & unfortunately car key as well and of course took the car on their way out. Luckily family was safe & they had insurance to cover most of their losses. Since that time, I always hide my 996 car keys, lesson learned... Cheers,

Wow, that really sucks. Have come
home to a ransacked place before, horrible feeling. Add to that the loss of items and especially your Porsche worst of all. Here's hoping the crook is caught, car returned in same condition as before and you get some peace of mind.

Sorry to hear, what a shame.

Sadly, I suspect your car is either on a container boat headed for Mex/Belize or in a million pieces.

Thant sucks, like everyone said. I reached out to a few people if they seen it or to keep an eye out and will DM you if I hear anything back. Keep us posted if they find it. Good luck.

Good idea, so it is here and searchable, the VIN of my stolen 2004 996: WP0AA29964S620070
No real developments except that I found one last digital record of its existence; on the day it was stolen (08/01) the thief used the 'Good To Go' toll lanes on the 405N (for which I payed $5.50).
The location noted as 405BL-NB04 (at 6:07PM) .. which looks like northbound 405 at 116TH Street toll gates in Kirkland. Probably went as far north as Lynwood given the cost of the toll. I'm still holding out hope that the car will be found :-)

Can you get a photo of the driver from the toll authority? Or can the cops?

You may not want it back given you have no idea how it was driven nor its real condition.

I was messing around with my Google Earth Pro to check out the Lynnwood area to see if I could find any thing. I think it might be worth a trip to check out this place...something Kompact Car Park...looks pretty lowlife to me

Actually, going up Washington 99 there are a bunch of small car lots to check out and this place looks like a secure junk yard

Just thinking they might have used your car and just bailed on it once to Lynwood, knowing that car would stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe repeat their trip on the 405 and see how far you get on $5.50? I know I would try it and would be scouring the surrounding area relentlessly.

What better place to hide a stolen vehicle, ditching it in the process? A used car lot or some parking area, plates gone. If it points to Kirkland or Lynwood, or that is where you get in a repeat of their toll charges, your police department could contact those police departments and do a BOLO report. I know I see our local cops cruising around all night long running tags and whatever. Your car is unique and will stick out.

@dbjoe996 all of 99 (and I mean all, from mexico to canada) is full of garbage, ie: shady used car lots, hookers, meth heads, drug dealers, etc., etcl, etc., so that is no help. It is literally the butthole of washington/seattle. Good looking out tho. As far as SPD, they are worthless. Property crimes in King county don't fall to the bottom of the priority list, they don't even make it on the list. Thanks to Seattle's liberal politics, cops that actually want to police leave. https://q13fox.com/2018/06/28/seattle-police-union-says-many-officers-are-leaving-the-force-frustrated-over-city-politics/

(Yes, I know its Fox, no Trump supporter here!)

Seattle is nearly over-run with homelessness and the city policies prefer to chase out officers and companies.
