Looks great! I installed a MOMO Prototipe wheel in my 944 and love it, just not sure if I´d want to go without the airbag since it´s a daily driver...

One question though - you seem to have the same Pioneer headunit as I. Do you know which surround you´ve got? Seems to fit much better than mine... and, where did you source the tray above the heater controls?

Many thanks!

You don't have to cut anything. All you have to do is disconnect the airbag and insert the resistor into the airbay connector. It take 10 seconds to install the resistor and wrap it with electrical tape and you have the airbag light defeated.

Sorry I had it installed by a local shop here in NJ who deals with the local Porsche dealer. They are called SoundWaves in Parsippany, NJ. Call Vinny and I'm sure he can tell you which surround they use. BTW they did an excellent job with the install of the head unit, the speakers and the sub with hand built enclosure.

I'm glad it didn't sell. Air bag bypass and horn works. Yeah, still need to finish putting in the other screws.😎 I gained about an inch of thigh room...

another angle

Wow, glad to hear you made it through, keep fighting! We are all pulling for you! I bet it makes the appreciation level for these cars and the experience that much more sweet.

Here’s the one I used. Moves the wheel up about ½”, doesn’t sound like much but I now can see the gauges! Easy install. No affiliation with the company, just a happy client.

Does this make the steering feel weird in anyway?
