Default relay for sunroof 2001 996

My sunroof and cruise control have both sopped working. No blown fuses. Perhaps a relay has gone bad. Where are the relays located and does anyone have a diagram of which relays control the sunroof and the cruise control. Thank you.

Cruise control and sunroof do not have relays, only fuses.

Thank you for the reply. It's much appreciated. The fuses are good. It is more than coincidental that both have stopped working.
Cruise control button on handle off of the steering wheel pushed on/off does not toggle the green CC light.
I unhooked the battery (-) lead to see if this would reset something in the computer. Had no effect.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Also, how to reset/clear the computer.
Thanks.

Disconnecting the battery should have cleared any codes from the DME. An inexpensive OBDII reader will clear most codes related to emissions. A more expensive but good way is to invest in Durametric, particularly if a problem is related to the security or airbag systems.
Things to check:
Ignition switch electrical part
Fuses
Make sure both rear brake lights are working
Check that the brake and cruise switches on the pedals are in place and working (brake and clutch pedal switches)

Are you getting a CEL light? Any codes? Is anything else not working correctly?

Thank you again. Really appreciate the reply and recommendations.
I did have a CEL. It seems to occur from time to time. I have an Actron scanner. The codes were/are associated with the emissions. Occurs infrequently. Cleared them. However, I will check the other items you refer to and look into purchasing the scanner you're suggesting. Will post what I find. May take a day or two to check it all. Thanks again.

I have encountered the same problem. Both Cruise Control and Sunroof stopped working. After borrowing a Launch scan tool, the CC was related to a blown light. Took apart the instrument cluster and replaced the light. Now the CC works. But I cannot figure out the remaining problem with my sunroof. Fuse is good. Did you ever find the cause of your sunroof problem and if so was a relatively simple fix? Thanks

Hi

Did you manage to get your sunroof working? Mine is completely dead and motor change did not fix it.
Fuse is fine...

Cheers
Ben
