It's a hard way to get to a Porsche, but he ended up going from the M3 to a TT. Quote a jump...

I had a new '97 Cadillac STS (I didn't know better then)
It was stolen out of the dealer service bay, with the keys in of course.
The dealer tried to stick me with every conceivable damage , rental charges for the 'free' service loaner, clean up, and towing, etc. etc., when it was finally recovered.
My insurance company took a different point of view and I believe the dealer backed down but it goes to show their mindset
