Default Warning to all the new owners/members

Should you ever lose power and check engine light comes on, DO NOT TRY AND RESTART IT until you pull some codes and find out what's going on.
The PO of my roller started his car after it was towed home and most likely added $3K to the repair bill for the 2 seconds he ran it.
That's all for now, stay tuned...

I'm not sure there's much you can infer from codes if the engine shuts down while making funky noises. I'd say any chain of events preceding a flatbed ride is a leading indicator of a code brown.

The DME should record codes if things go south very quickly, you can also read the stored codes without turning the engine over.

Does the CEL blink when serious & stay on when non-critical?
