I used black aluminium mesh, pulled the bumper, made templates out of cardboard, cut the mesh to suit the cardboard, finessed where required and bonded into place.
I did it backward. Literally just finished my center radiator install yesterday (including putting the bumper back on). Now I see this thread and know I need to take the bumper back off. Good thing it is quick (jacking the car up takes the most amount of time).
I'm going to do the screen next month. So, don't feel bad, you're not alone. You will also love the third rad. Hope you put in the 160F thermo at the same time. I can sit in hot traffic with the AC on high and not worry a bit. It's a great feature.
I was looking at your DYI mesh application. 1) I understand I will need to use Master Seal to bond the mesh to the inside of my bumper2) What was that black strip you wrapped around the ends/edges of the mesh that I assumed you used when bonding?3) or am I over thinking this?
You don’t need glue or edging. The screen is jammed between the bumper and the plastic/rubber ducting. I put two short screws per side to hold them in place so they stay until the bumper is installed.

Yeah I did the 160F thermo last year when I replace the engine. Hoping this helps my track day temps which can get pretty hot.
Also question for anyone that did the DIY. Can you circle on one of your images where the screws are? Looking at the pictures, I do not see an screws, but knowing how thin the bumper is, I don't know how that could be possible. Or is there another layer of bumper that I am forgetting about?

I screwed it into the thicker part of the black surround that is inside the bumper itself, not the thin bumper skin. It is really the ducts that hold them in place.
