Default Heated Seats

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the heated seat element to a comfort seat that doesn't have one? Is the wiring already there? Thanks

There are some relays/timers/connectors that go with the element. They are screwed to the seat bottom and have harnesses that are connected to the main connector on the seat. I don't know if the power is in the main connector.

Did this to my car years ago. Found this source for the DIY. Minor modification for a 996.

Dharn55 doesn't say much, but when he does, you can bank on it.
