Appreciate it. It’s been hard finding info. When I bought my car. I went to a shop that I’d heard mixed reviews from. They did my ppi and at the time there was no CEL. Few weeks later I returned. He suggested the cure be cam position sensor. Just like you I changed that and with other maintenance items bill was again 2k as it usually is whenever the car goes into the shop. When the light came back on after driving down the street I was more than upset and haven’t returned. So before I find another shop. I just wanted to read a little bit more info before throwing random parts at it when mechanic suggests they’ll fix the issue
