Default Changing Battery

When you change the battery do you attached a battery charger to the leads so the dreaded airbag light does not come on?
Curious minds want to know. I am going to run harness for my CD Changer and change a battery dated 8/10.

Regards,

Lang G

Disconnecting the battery will not trip the airbag light so no worries.

If you have an original radio make sure you have the code on hand.

I've read of people connecting a battery jumper to the fuse box terminal to save the settings - not sure if its actually required.

You might need to re-set your electric windows though.
