Frunk trim part - help
I am trying to to find a part for securing the from trunk trim parts ( trim pieces around the battery) There is a torx bolt used to hold down the trim that screws into a rubber grommet located in the metal piece below the trim. I need new grommets as they no longer provide an bite for the bolt. Pics below will show the bolt and grommet as well as the trim piece(s) in place on the car. I have tried to locate the part in the PDF for the car but I don;t see even where the trim pieces are referenced let alone where the grommet I need is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought new ones. Looking thru my records and my online purchases but can't find receipts. I have it listed as "air box grommet" on a spread sheet I keep to track my expenses.
I'll keep looking.
RETRACTION: Sorry, air box grommet is not it, but i did replace mine, I'll keep looking

While you're at it - (if you don't have it) you should order the clear plastic part that covers the VIN number on that trim. I'll post the part number later

Same thing here as well.
I still have the screw but it won't grab. The bottom of the screw looks rusty, too.

I had this same issue: Torx screw present, but not grabbing the worn rubber grommet.
I managed to fix it, as follows:
1. Cut a short section of semi-clear polyethylene tubing
2. Super-glue this into the worn rubber grommet
3. Heat the end of the Torx screw with a heat gun
4. Screw the hot Torx screw into the plastic-lined bushing
5. Remove screw when cool, and lubricate with silicone grease
6. Re-install in 996
Notes:
#1 - length is ~5mm; tubing OD is ~6mm
#4 - hot metal forms internal threads in the plastic
#5 - silicone grease very useful for rubber and plastic parts

I found that part number on pelican and other than the $5 a piece price it worked perfectly. I probably should have ordered new bolts as mine a scratched up but then I can always just paint them. Thanks to everyone!
