Just a heads up if you've not read this thread 996 ticking lifter/valve noise fixed!! my findings and solution. Nathan hits on several things and appears to be pretty good with a wrench. I also used oil analysis with Speediagnostix / LN use them too. They have a good easy to use test kit. You get back a full report. As mentioned no metals in my oil. I am going to follow the above discussed swirl pots clean out on my next oil change. A couple of pic's from my Oregon run. Again the car drove great.
