I have been trying to decode my VIN, but it keeps coming up as not found. Any ideas why this would be?

WP0AA2991XS620076

The car is a 99 C2 coupe.

Worked for me by just clicking on your VIN. Difference is I am a paying Rennlist Member and you are a User.

Sorry. Should have been more specific. I was trying to get the build sheet that has the specific options and MSRP for each VIN. For some reason none of the links I have found are finding my car.

I think post #10 answered your question. You have to pay to get the official Porsche build sheet. The Porsche COA is only available from Porsche. Why not just use the link and pay the $?

Perfectly happy to pay the money to get it. My only hesitation is I have tried to use the links that others have been using to pull them. For example:
https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...AA2991XS620076

Each one comes up with my car not being available. I was just trying to find out what would cause it to be unavailable in the first place.

If you strip out the additional stuff from the link, this is what you get and why it doesn't work

It works by putting your vin in the url I provided earlier. Here is an example of one where it found the VIN and provided the print out.

https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...AC29P38LA82824

You should be able to replace the VIN with any VIN to see the build sheet. I know there are restrictions to only US cars, and that it doesn't go back to 1990. Not sure what the other restrictions are and if that is why it can't find my car.

I think that only works from 2001 onwards; won't work for a 99.

Thank you. That is helpful information.

Is the Suncoast product mentioned in post #10 likely to work then? I am assuming they are pulling from the same db.

I'd call them and ask; it looks to me all they are doing is using a print to pdf driver from that same site, I could be wrong though!
