Default Coil Packs - Where to get them?

I've got a misfire and suspect a bad coil pack.

Where do you get your coil packs from?

I see Pelican has Beru coil packs @ 40$ a piece. I'm getting all six.

Does Pelican ever let you use a promo code?

Any advice is much appreciated!

JR

I took this pic last week at the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington. She was just looking so pretty sitting there, I couldn't help it...

Thank you!

I should mention that it's for a 1999 C2.

What fracture posted is the best solution since they are the updated style coil packs that are more resistant to wear. Also very nice 996. Just needs those headlights either polished and made clear again or replaced by litronics. Really updates the look.

+1 for OEM Beru plugs at Warehouse33, they come with the longer bolts with the updated coils, great service and fast shipping too, cheers.

Thank you! I've been thinking about updating the lights. Definitely need to polish the lenses and maybe go to clear markers.

I bought that same kit from ECS a few weeks ago. Worked a treat on my '03 and would assume the same on your '99. I read some compatibility issues with the TT models based on the thicker walls of the coilpack boot coming in contact with a downpipe, but shouldn't be an issue on your N/A car. The kit part# is ES#3083524. I'm betting you'll be fine regardless of compatibility on their site, but give them a call if you wanna be 100%.

Oh and i also worked on my headlight lenses with Mckee's 37 purchased from Autogeek. That stuff is legit and i highly recommend it.

Don't forget the spark plug tubes too if you got a leak!
