Passenger window doesn't roll down all the way...?
Just replaced the regulator in my passengers side door...damn thing won't roll down all the way. It does seem like it goes lower a little over time, well since last Friday if that makes any sense?
Curious if there was any mechanical adjustment or if this is something electrical that is required for memory. The adjustments on the regulator itself are minor and I don't think for this application.
New Porsche unit, what a piece of crap...I miss the old style regulators!
Thanks for any help.

Look at the picture of the genuine Porsche regulator, green pulleys. There are two yellow stops on the arm. The upper one is for Boxster the lower one, towards the right in the pic, is for 996. You have to remove the upper one for your 996.

Guys, thanks for the help...so strange but all the documentation I have read on this said nothing about clips to remove so I am really confused! Glad I did not button up everything yet on the car.
FPB111, I looked at the pictures but do not see any yellow stops? I will search for some pictures as I am not sure what you mean...?

So this is what I was wondering. Can you get the stop out without taking the entire inner membrane out? It seems like you removed the speaker/sub unit and were able to access the stop through that opening...Is this correct? My passenger side window has been like this since I replaced the window over a year ago. As you can tell from the timing, it's not a huge deal for me, but I would like it to be right...

Hey Dporto...correct, pull the door skin, fold up the rubber shield underneath and unbolt the four Phillips screws to slide out the speaker assembly. The stop is right there for super easy access. I was dreading the idea of removing everything but after finding some information and pulling that assembly, I knew this was finally an easy fix!
