Default Finally found the right altitude

I liked the lowered look with the eibach springs, but always wanted to get the nose a bit lower. I finally broke down and picked up a set of coilovers to accomplish this. I went with the designtek D220 setup. Reasonable price, and I have seen a few people using them with success. It was a lot of on and off to get the height right. Ow to see if it can be aligned within spec at this height, or will i need to find more parts.
Before with eibach springs, then the new stance

I like it. Always thought the 996 looks like it's "leaning back" with its factory rake any pics from different angles?

What wheels are you running?

Wow. Glad you found the look and ride height that you like. I think that car would be undriveable where I live!

Looks great, I'm hoping to make the same wheel / suspension additions next year.

Car looks great! How do you like the ride compared to the lowering springs? Also where did you end up on the dampening settings?

It looks great! Be sure to get back and let us know how the designtek's work out. What size wheels are those?

Wheels are 19"
Had it aligned today, and they had to raise it a bit to get it within specs 😔
Now i have to dexide if i like it. I think it would be better 1/2" lower, so i may drop it back down a bit, and deal with tire wear. I was more concerned with ruining the handling, than the tire wear. I don't drive it a lot, so tires will likely dry rot before worn out.

Looks great! Reinforces the idea that I need to lower the back end of mine quite a bit (currently on KW V3's).

What other suspension parts did you change? There are lots of adjustable pieces that you can get to help you keep the alignment as you go lower.

looks really good, but curious to know what your ride height is and what your toe settings are. Did you install adjustable rear toe control arms?
