I wonder what Fister hacking would do to those mufflers..., has anyone tried it before?

Either way, could just drill some holes in the mufflers. Or upgrade the exhaust manifolds combined with hi-flo cats.

you know whats funny is ive noticed these treaded holes in the exhaust that have what looks like a 10 or 12 mm bolts in them that can be removed. Very small in size... picture and o2 sensor hole but much much smaller in multiple places of the exhaust. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I can take picture and send them. After reading your comment I'm tempted to remove the bolt from a few holes and see what happens lol

I have a pair of jen-you-wine Fisters, one of which has a completely custom blown internal baffle and rattles like a fiend.

I'll trade you straight-up for those quiet, stupid, overly-threaded Fabspeeds. Guarantee the Fister plumbing plus the rattling, rusted guts will be all the noise you could want.

If you want to proceed, hit me up using my other screen name (LilPump).

BAHAHAHAAHHA
This made me actually laugh out loud. I appreciate your offer, it made my day and made me appreciate my quite, stupid, overly-threaded exhaust lol. Thank you sir

I had the same problem. I had Fabspeed headers and their MaxFlo mufflers. It just didn't sound like I wanted it to. I pulled the cats and replaced with the SpeedTech catless X-pipe. I now LOVE the sound of my car. I put a 90 degree O2 spacer on each post cat sensor and all is good for probably a year now.

I went with SpeedTech over Fabspeed due to the price difference. The craftsmanship of the SpeedTech was top notch and came will all necessary gaskets and stainless hardware.
Nice throaty sound, but not loud when driving easy. When hammering on it, it sounds like a race car!

I saw a post that said SpeedTech has a Labor Day sale going on right now!

The problem is, you have a roof. Get a cab. Fabspeed Maxflo's sound great in a cab :-)

Here re are a couple pictures I just took. I removed these two 13mm bolts to show these holes. I'm going to start the car like this and see what kind of difference it makes. Not sure what these holes would have been for.

Huh. I may be mistaken but those bungs are for the pre/post cat O2 sensors. Where are your sensors?

No sensor have ever been there. They had 13mm bolts threaded into them until I just removed them. These holes seem to small to me for o2 sensors unless they are really small/ skinny sensors? Any o2 sensors I've ever seen have always been much larger than these holes. I think you can actually see the o2 sensor on the other side of the pipe in the first pictures from where the hole is that I have open

Default FD Motorsports (Fisters)

Send your muffs to FD Motorsports. They'll make them growl for you. And while they are out of the car, buff up the stainless and ,make them shine.
