Default FS: '99 C2 Coupe 6MT with 3.8L FSI

After waiting more than a year for the completion of what I consider the Perfect Porsche, I now unfortunately need to sell it. It's a bummer but life happens. It's a March of '98 build date and 89k miles. The 3.8L Track Performer + is the top Flat Six Innovations engine you can build for this car. It is a nimble beast and an absolute blast to drive. The engine has absolutely exceeded my expectations. The engine alone was $29k, I will take $35k for the car. I'm hopeful another Rennlister will pick it up but will be listing it on BaT fairly quickly if not.

Me too. But I'll hopefully get a chance to do it again once things get headed back in the right direction.

Any more details on the car? What suspension does it have? Litronics? Sport seats? LSD option?

Whoops. I'll get an updated photo pretty quickly. It will have a different stance as well as I'm taking the suspension back to stock.

Stock suspension, open differential, no litronics, and sport seats. But I'll install anything you want to ship me for free (within reason).

Good luck with the sale Slakker. I have close to this much into my C2 and it's a far cry from what your 3.8L is capable of. Best wishes getting back into an mk1 after she sells.

Hey Slakker! Hate to hear about you having to let go of your two babies. You put so much time and money into the cars... not to mention, you poured a lot of heart into both. However, you know I can empathize better than most. Seeing those cars leave is heartbreaking isn't it. I miss mine everyday. It was the cheapest form of therapy! But priorities are priorities. Please just keep in touch ok?

I'm hoping to get another 996 next year. I'm trying to avoid financing, but I wouldn't rule it out completely. Hopefully, next spring, I'll be back on the saddle again.

Cheers!

This is a great car that I had the privilege of riding in last time I was in OKC. Slakker is a stand-up individual, that is offering one hell of a deal. One thing that hasn't been noted is this vehicle has an A/C delete.

Finance this one, and you both come out winners!

You can always re install the AC. This is the best non turbo 996 and possibly 911 on the market. You would be making a mistake not considering it.
