Default Warranty Help needed!

Hello

I orginally posted this as "how long for service?"

I have a new question though!

While driving to work last friday i noticed steam coming from the front of the car while I was braking to get off at the exit. I pulled into work and smelled that "broken radiator" smell and heard some hissing from the right from of the car.

Porsche service sent a flat bed to get it and told me yesterday that i had a broken condensor and they said it looked like a rock hit it. They say it will be $800 to fix! and that the warranty didn't cover this type of repair

I trully don't remember running over anything ever in the 6 months i have had the car.

Can anyone see any argument I can make to get them to warranty this item?

Jason

If they have evidence of a rock hitting it, that would be interesting. If they don't, demand warranty repair and take it up with your DSM. That's ridiculous.

But....perhaps they see it like a broken windshield...which would be a bit more problematic to resolve under warranty.

Is there a rock in your interior cavity of the bumper cover?

gotta think this one is probably your repair. you can tell if something punctured the radiator which is most def not a warranty repair.

Maybe your insurance will cover it similar to a windshield.
