Default Just bought these cause....

The price was right.
They came off of a 06 C2.
I want to put them on my 01 C4 which is also a narrow body.
Will they fit?
Thanks!
Grant

The Carrera IV don't have the right offsets, but with spacers you should be able to make them work. Have you tried the 18" turbo twists or Carrera IIs??? Those would be the perfect match to the mk1 C4.

Correction... Those on Craigslist are Carrera III which are sold for the 997 NOT 996.

Here's the Carrera II

But Grant, even though the Carrera III wheels were made for the 997, with the proper spacers, they should work fine!

Well, I'll be honest, they're not a perfect OEM fit, but people have made them work on 996. IMHO, I think they look cool, but sometimes the offset doesn't look like it's lined up (with the fenders edge) like the Carrera II on the narrow body Carreras. Just my 2 cents worth.

You might like them, but don't forget the spacers.

Cheers!

Default I have 19's

on the car right now.
Victor Equipment.
Not crazy about the 19's because I live
in Pennsylvania and the potholes are
ridiculous. Plus the wheels are like 40 lbs each.
Hoping that adding some sidewalls will help.
Thanks,
Grant

Yea, lots of people regretted moving to 19" because of the harsher ride quality. Well, you got some great wheels. Once you get the offsets right, you may find the 18" are much better driving experience. But don't get yourself bummed out if you think you jumped the gun. If the wheels haven't been shipped and you prefer the OEM match Carrera II, then ask and see if the owner will refund your money. Best thing is to get what you want. It seems like you were really wanting the Carrera II wheels. Anyway... I wish you all the best!

Default They were local

Cash deal. Private party.
I own them. Paid 400 bucks and they are mint condition.
Either way I will be ok.
How do you know what size spacers to get?
Thanks again!

You did great on that deal! I bought a set with new mounted Pilot sports and paid many times that. I weighed them and they are all of 3.5 pounds heavyer for the back and 2 for the front ,compared to 17" turbo twists.
I am using 15mm spacers up front, none in the rear and they look and perform wonderfully. I have an extra pair of ECS spacers, if you want them, shoot me a PM and we'll talk.
