Default A Headlight Question

How do i remove the yellow/orange lens from inside the headlight?

I think that's just the bulb. You can get silver bulbs that flash orange at insert-auto-parts-store-here.

You can either remove the main lens to get to it, or do as some have done and melt it out with a soldering iron through the bulb socket hole. A Google search will turn up pictures and instructions for method 2.

Ivangene did an amberectomy (melting the lens and pulling it out) for my 996 and then showed me how to do it on my Son's boxster. I was able to do it in about 20 minutes my first time. Here is some discussion about that.

Here is what the car looks like...also bought some silverized amber bulbs to eliminate or amber.



Less than an hour to do both.
