Default Customized my 3d Printed Cupholder

I finally decided to update my flimsy cupholder. I used spray paint, resin, 3m carbon fiber vinyl and porsche stuff I had around my house. I also added some weights to the bottom.

Very cool. Adding the vinyl definitely made it look better. Where does it mount?

How rigid does it seem to sit in the ashtray? I'd be interested in buying one if someone wants to make a couple bucks.

It sits in there snugly, but it is extremely light. If you bump it with your arm it can come out. I bought these weights off amazon and put them underneath. They make it feel more substantial.

heres the zip for the file. I got it last year from the same link.

EDIT: If you tape the part that fits in the ashtray (I used duct tape once around the outside) it makes it more rigid and fits more snug.

My son modified the file and made the cup holder part larger in order to hold my Tervis coffee cup.
He has sold some of the regular sized ones on eBay.
His 3D printer was acting up so he replaced it recently.
Luckily it was replaced under warranty.
If his college courses allow him some time to set it up(it’s still in the box) he will probably be selling some before too long.
