Default Won't engauge into gear

2003 Porsche Carrera 4S AWD I drove the car for 80 Miles and had no problems. I went to go for a drive the next day, found the car not engauging into gear. So far I replaced the TCM, Trans filter and fluid. Checked the plug and harness on the transmission looked dry. Can anyone Help! I'm confuse.

Is this a tiptronic? AFAIK no trans filter on the manual 6 speed

It could be an electrical bug leading to the lever being locked out?

Yes, it's a Tiptronic Automatic Transmission. Thanks

I think you need to describe the problem in more detail, your description is ambiguous

Sorry, I put the car in drive or in reverse, the REVS move on the dash but the car doesn't move when you press the gas pedal. Thanks

Considered it worked before, I would be checking the linkage. And more importantly, hook up a Durametric while messing around with it, it should have "indicated" gear positions.

I am not familiar with the 996 gearbox, but if it's anything like an Audi ZF, it has both a mechanical cable and an electrical switch on the outside of the box. If it's not adjusted correctly, you get the same symptoms.

Does it go into gear in any other position? I.E. when in drive or tiptronic mode?

You need to probe it with a Durametric.
