Default WTB: 996 gt3 RS or Manthey wing

i need more downforce!!! full exhaust kit is coming in couple of days, so i need help to put down that power.

i didn't see any wing for sale but for some of you, it's the end of the season and it's time to part some of your racer stuff.

so, im looking to get an used RS wing or manthey wing.

any leads appreciated, im not in any rush to find at all.

thanks

A few of us have had success with the Aeromotions wing. I like mine. Might be easier to source one of those as you can simply call and buy a new one.

Hey TD,

What width wing did you purchase from Aeromotions? I saw your wing at one of the track days earlier in the year and really liked it.
It didnt look out of place on the GT3 at all. About how much is the wing if u don't mind me asking? I was kind of waiting for a wing of opportunity but noy joy. I guess purchasing from Aeromotions would end the fruitless search for me so I can move onto other things on the list I want.

Thanks for any info u can share.

Have you added shims to the stock wing?
To me 8 degree shims on stock wing are about the same as my RS wing with no shims

IIRC, RS wing is 57". Aeromotions is 65". More wing in clean air

As for price, we set up a group buy a while back. List price was $2,199. A few of us got a discount off of that. Wing showed up soon after with a couple sets of endplates.

Some pics:

Personally, I don't like the look of how it mounts. I'd prefer the flush mount of the RS or Manthey wing. It just looks like an afterthought in my opinion. But, if it's a track car, is functional, and does what it is supposed to at a much lower price point, then the previous doesn't bother me.

Looks much better in person. Looks not quite stock but not too much aftermarket. Very unique look which I like. Sharif at forged I think runs a red 6-3 with that wing.

along Dell's line ...Himself/mk - is there a functional reason it doesn't mount flush to the declid strut?
ALso have they released the auto-adjust version for the 6-3 yet?
