I have been using Griots bug and tar remover and Poor Boys bug and tar remover. There are also these yellow bug scrubbie sponges on Amazon that big jobs like yours might need.

Maybe an update for your brake thread?

^ When I hit it I actually thought it was a big bug or a bunch of bugs. Looked at it in the paddock and thought bugs shouldn't have feathers and smell like blood..

^^I'll post an update on the brake thread.

^^^ It is kind of cool!! Doesn't happen that often me thinks! Pete, too bad you couldn't play.. Did you get your car fixed up? Next track day will be Aug 5 for me.

The windshield I think is not too bad, I have clearplex on it that's taken most of the beating. There are some pits that look like have affected the glass but don't know for sure. Will remove at the end of the track season and likely replace - I'm hoping just the clearplex.
