But tell them you really wanted the black 993tt. You might be willing to compromise. Not often a car like that is available. The black one I mean.

White in the south, black in the north. Since you have 8 months of cold weather out there in Winnterpeg, definitely black.

You guys made me dig out my COA. Glacier White with Cashmere/Black interior. My 1984 Carrera was GP White. I guess I'm partial to white.

Picked up my daughter from school.
Took this picture walking back to the car.

It's a 96 so Grand Prix White.

Glacier is even "whiter"

I could never figure out what it was about Glacier white, why it always looked different, that is, until I went to my friends shop and he was doing a set of his customers sport seat backs in the body color.

I was hanging with him during the prep work on the seats and then the good part..... I was there when he was mixing the paint. Many colors, even white, have tiny amounts of of other color tints in them (with white its most often yellow or red in very small amounts).

What shocked me, and makes the most sense to me now that I was with him during the mixing, is that Glacier white has an unusually high amount of blue tint in it (small amounts of other colors as well, but for the most part it's pure white and blue)when mixed to the factory specs with a body shop paint system (Glasurit). My buddy does tons of paint, and he is really shocked that the Glacier doesn't come out looking like sky blue after it's sprayed because of how much blue tint the paint has.

I saw a Glacier White 993 yesterday and I found it spectacular--incredibly bright and brilliant.

Enjoy your decision and ride.

This is a bit of a dumb thread. Kinda like wondering whether to do the blonde or the brunette.

^it's fun trying to decide if happen to have a choice. In the end, it's like marriage or a career, just need to decide and commit! works out most of the time.

Definitely part of the fun, the chase.... the choosing of colors etc. Like anything else, you can always sell/trade out of one 993 TT for another one that suits you if you don't like it in the long run.

I'd buy both! I have a black/black which I absolutely love. Was thinking of selling cuz I hardly drive it... but with this thread, I'm really considering adding haha. I have always had white cars...
