168,000 miles. That's awesome!! If the car checks out, that's a good entry price point for a daily driving 993 Turbo.

If bought smart, and the new owner can do some/most of their own maintenance and repairs, they could drive it for another +100,000 miles for little to no depreciation costs.

at first glance, 'turbo' scrip on tail in wrong position.
But agree would be a good daily driver.

It looks clean and typical dealer detailed. But hard to say, pics are always deceiving too. Most likely had some paintwork given the miles + as Basal noted the rear script is off.

Very likely the highest mileage TT and lowest priced we've seen in quite some time. Nice pluses are 1 owner and all service records.

You'd have to think not many out there looking for higher mileage TTs, so maybe still some negotiation is possible esp after a PPI (something will always come up!).

What is the weird light color strip under the nose, on the full front shot?

Hard to say the shape given the comment "$100,000" of receipts - was has done to the engine/turbos/transmission/ect."

Good be a good deal especially if you are handy mechanically.

Cheers,

Mike

Good records. Aftermarket exhaust? Could be a great buy.

Couple observations:
-missing cigarette lighter
-missing rear seats "Turbo" script word at back seat/carpet
-seems as if the front license plate bracket holes have been filled

miles smiles wtf
i'm at 340k miles with a fresh engine and would not sell for anything…too much fun.
i think a one owner car like this is a better buy (even assuming you drop another $30-35K for a new engine) than a multiple owner car at $130-150K and 50k miles
10-15 years from now no one will care about miles…unless you have one w under 5k miles…and there will only be a handful of those.

Just FYI, it's been relisted on eBay for several months. Granted, it was priced at $98k until last week, but it makes me wonder if it's in worse shape than the photos show.

The miles obviously scare people off too, of course. Also, when 80,000-mile cars struggle to sell at $110k, 170k miles at $90k may not work out mathematically.

This car was on Copart last year for somewhere in the $60-$70K range. Accident history too.

did he cover the carpeted door panel parts with vinyl?

If you want a cheap 993TT, this may be ok, but you'd want a very detailed PPI.

Mike;
I think what you are seeing is a reflection of the sun on the bricks behind the car, not attached to it.

I heard of this car a year & a half or so ago, wrecked twice & might be a real Turd, buy in person & PPI.
