Default 993 Tt

Last November I totalled my 993 TT. It was a sad day and I had put Porsche and the 911 behind me for a while, until now. Last night I just picked up my 2004 GT3 and I have to say the car is UNREAL! As much as I loved my 993 TT, this car is so much more refined and impressive. As you all may know, the car is non-turbo and it definitely feels faster than my 993TT and feels just as fast as any 996TT I have driven.

All I can say is WOW. This is truly a special car and as much as I love turbo's, one ride in this car has almost made me forget about them... Almost..

At any rate, I still have my reprogrammed ECU from my 993TT. It made a huge difference that I felt right away when I plugged it into my stock vehicle. I am looking to sell it so if anyone knows any 993TT owners who are looking for a little more out of their car, send them my way. It is an entire reprogrammed unit and plugs directly in place of the stock one, which is great as well because you get to keep your ECU stock should you wish to change it back down the road (but you wont want to..).

Thanks all

Adam

Can you please provide more detail? Vendor, hp gain, any other mods required, etc. What year was your car? How much are you asking?

Thanks.

It was a Cargraphic ECU - they used RS tuning for their programming which is among the best out there. This ECU will work in any 993 TT regardless of year. I cannot speak for the HP gains as I did not DYNO my car before and after. They claim 40HP, but I am not sure if that is likely. I can tell you that there was a VERY noticable performance increase from stock. My RPMs were raised, boost was raised and it pulled much harder and stronger in ALL gears, and my top speed was raised as well (based on my testing).

Shoot me an email if interested... The best part is you get the ENTIRE ECU so your's can remain stock and unmodified for resale or if you bring the car in for service.

Adam,

I'm possibly interested. Send me a PM, what are you asking?

Also interested, how much are you asking? Will the ecu upgrade require any other mods to maintain engine safety?

Thanks.

Mine was a 1996 993 TT so yes.. But I believe it will work on ALL 993 TT since it's the same car..

Why aren't you breaking in that beautiful GT3 you got last night. you shouldn't know exactly how fast it is (unless you test drove a separate car). you need to break it in for proper engine running and life.
