How would you identify a 98 TT from a 97TT by VIN code?

i just realized that mine is a 98 turbo.
Would that add more value to it. Lets say maybe exchanging it for a turbo S . Hahahaha just kidding.

You don't need to change it to a Turbo S if yours is a WLS2 450hp power kit from the factory.
They were available
408 HP 993 Turbo
430 HP WLS1 Powerkit
450HP WLS2 Powerkit

What stand for WLS1/2? I know my car has the X50 430cv option but was converted when new to 450 HP specs (k24+turbo S RoW DME).
Thanks
