Wow that's 417K Canadian Dollars! A unicorn among 993 TT. We will never know if it sells for that amount but we can dream...

It's the great white buffalo. I'm impressed.

It may be the lighting in the photos, but it looks too dark to be Riviera Blue to me. It looks more like Blue Turquoise.

Pretty sure it's the lighting, the one shot taken of the rear cabin with a flash looks def like RB. I guess this answers the other thread about whether specialty colors = a premium. To me the holy grail right there.

Default value of color

I guess this answers the question on the true value of color thread ... we all rationalize why we have the color we do but the bottom line is for the lower production (rare) colors the value will in most cases be significantly more.

I think this car proves that fact ... if it was black/silver/arena I doubt the ask would be what it is all other parameters being equal.

Keep in mind that that's the ask price, it's a '97, hardback seats, and the miles are pretty darn low. Not that the color won't add to the premium, but there are other "premium" factors and maybe an optimistic seller involved, too.

That color alone is adding $100,000 to this car? wow!

Well it's the first time I've ever seen a RB TT for sale, I know some that have been looking since 2007 and gave up as it seemed literally impossible. But this asking price is a whole other story. This color still commands a huge premium IMO, but really only to the true 993 enthusiasts.

Example a guy coming from say a 4 door BMW into the Porsche world most likely wouldn't in his right mind pay this premium.

a bit fishy that a unicorn like this is being advertised on banal channels like autotrader. a car like this ought to be exchanging owners via private dealers and collectors. weird.

The 993 turbo's are like gold right now. There was a silver with red interior at a dealer in So. Cal last month with low miles in the mid 400,000's
