Does your ends end up fitting like these? What I think is the ends are angled on OEM vs more squared on these copy versions.

I'm about to place an order, but may send the seller these pics so he angles them like OEM. Seems like it would be an easy adjustment.
I've been in contact with seller. He copied one that he got from a dealer in the UK. Could the US version be different from ROW?

Here is a picture of the front of the sill from the side. Not easy to see as you either need to lift the car or lie on the ground. For expediency I chose the latter. It looks like a 3-4mm radius. Looks like a got a bit of cleaning to do. It doesn't look that bad under normal lighting. LOL.

My sills are Porsche Option Code: X70. Metal Door Sill with Insignia It came with a dealer price of $322 and a MSRP of $402 so you guys that get this are getting a great deal IMO.

It's actually Chestnut, not very common IMO and beautiful to match the era of the 993. And quite challenging to get it's real color in pics.

Fellow RL - SPDR/friend picked it up last fall, exterior is Metallic black.

Johnny - Thanks for the note and pics of the hinge side.

Contacted the seller and he can. Ordering a set of 4S sills and he is incorporating the tapered ends like the OEM versions.

Ordering a set of Turbo sills too. Fabricator has been great to deal with, as I've updated him with some pics from this thread.

Hey Jakob - The seller indicated he preferred to ship UPS so I haven't put thru my order, we know what a nightmare that can be for us Canadians.

Are you planning to self clear the customs portion or hoping it slips thru?

Aren't these Rennline sills closer to factory? Price is comparable, after shipping. All of their stuff is good quality.Name: image.jpg

Hey B! I asked him if he would mind declaring a gift...no response yet. I paid him already though. If he's not cool with it, I'll see if he can declare a lesser amount. Problem with UPS is they'll charge us 100% of the value of the package as "brokerage"...Fingers crossed that won't happen.

At the end of the day, they're 1/4 price of OE sills....

Those sills appear to have raised lettering. The OEM has the text being more of a satin finish while the rest is brushed.

As I mentioned in a previous post the "turbo" script shape was a bit off but the texture looks about the same.

Ugh UPS to Canada. If I have no choice I use http://www.aacb.com/ to do the brokerage.
Very interested to see the quality of the C4S sills.
