Really. My car went from the uk to Ruf back to the uk and ultimately to ny
Now it did start as a U.S. Car if that matters

I would like to know about your car and the possibilities of bringing to the U.S. Anybody have experience??

We are getting close to the EPA and DOT regulatory time frame but not yet. 959, 964RS, 993RS and GT2s have been granted show and drive status. This car is so close to 993 TurboS specs that was imported that it may not get granted.. This month's Pano has this in detail.

Have new BMW i8 ordered. Should be here April. I want to do a dealer "courtesy trade" of my 993 TT, black/black and pristine, always serviced by Porsche dealer, 58K miles.

Selling, but the way a "courtesy trade" works is the dealer takes the car in trade for the amount of the sale and passes along the same price to the buyer. This way I pay sales tax on the difference in price instead of the entire price. So, the price is the same for the buyer and seller. Let's say the i8 costs $15,000 more than than the 993 TT, then I pay tax on $15,000. I've done this before on other cars.

That is just crazy. Curious were this goes. For the same money you buy their brand new 991 GT3!

And how is a new GT3 better? Will it retain value?

Interesting question considering the 911's all turbo future & the fact that 997.2 GT3's are currently trading around or above their original msrp....
