And the seller gets $180K. That's a very nice profit for the auction house. Now we know how they can afford to print those very nice catalogs! And I don't think that includes the original sellers entry fees or the buyers registration fees.

- interior: black only
- miles: under 10K
- one owner
- sunroof delete (this is a must option for me)
- no body damage or paint work of any kind

desirable factory options: leather, carbon, rear viper delete, delete model designation, rear seat delete

if all of the above conditions are met, just name your price

thanks...
finder fee of $14K to the one who helps me find the specimen I'd end up buying...

You need to call John Ashe at Marshall Goldman. These guys are VERY connected in the classic car world. If it is out there...they will find it.

http://www.mgmsl.com/

I've never bought anything from them but I did make it a point to stop by and visit him when I was in Cleveland over Christmas break. A good guy.

Looking forward to that $14K

i was looking at a Turbo at Marshall Goldman sometime back (about 6 months ago)... sent my guy to examine it and turned out the car had paint work. Not sure I want to deal with Marshall Goldman again... also, I would really prefer to buy directly from the first owner and not dealer...

Sorry to hear about your negative experience with MG. Those guys are usually pretty good.

I personally own a clean black/black '97 Turbo with HB sport seats myself. Unfortunately for you it is above your mileage target (59K miles) but I'd be willing to sell it should you still be willing to pay big $$

Good luck in your search....patience always pays off

Locating a sub 10k mile, sunroof delete, one owner, '97 Turbo....you are correct that patience will be required.

I hope you find what you're looking for. The search is always fun.
