Default Wrapping a TT

There is a 993TT sitting on market for a very friendly price. Ugly color, ugly wheels and bad interior color to match the exterior. Was wondering if it would be a great investment, or an absolutely horrible idea, to purchase it, wrap it in something like Mexican Blue and let the rest work it self out..

There is a 993 thread of a Smuff Blue wrap that look really good in photos. So it may be an option.

Why do dealers like to use someone else's name? I brought this up in a thread about Top Gear the other day. For anyone that grew up in the two stroke era, you will associate Wiseco with one thing. Burned up piston and rings on a 70's or 80's dirt bike! So, in my head, I ponder the reasoning of naming a dealer after the manufacturer of replacement Pistons?! Maybe it's really supposed to mean something else. I sed to buy products from a company named HATA, how about them apples...

Jeeze, that is one ugly RED - I read somewhere that they do not sell very well!

BTW, a good wrap will look great, but it will also not be cheap, and the bumpers/mirrors/door handles will need to be painted.

Cheers,

Mike

Funny, alot of people (myself included) think AR is a beautiful color. I think Mike J also likes the color of his car. Just a little stunning that the OP deemed it "ugly".

It was one of the colors I was searching for 1 1/2 years ago when I was shopping for my TT. They weren't that plentiful back then. I was looking for a top dollar car. The ones available had issues and it sure wasn't the color.

I love Arena Red.

So as theLou Gramm song goes, with a little poetic license, "life is either Arena (Cherry) Red or Midnight Blue..."

Arena Red is the color of the TT that graced most of their marketing pieces at the time.

Wrap it. But what's the condition of the existing paint/wheels?
