Brand New 930 4 sale?
Yesterday coming out of my dealership (Motor Werks in Barrington) after picking up a new Mobil 1 sticker, I noticed a brand new never been titled or plated 1989 Porsche 930 Slant Nose Turbo, with 583 MILES. White with black trim and Red Leather interior. This car was amazing, clean as clean can be. I guess the owner brings it in for service every 6 months.
The service manager told me the car is worth around 300K. Back in 89 it must have been worth around 100-130K. WOW! Apparently the owner deals with the likes of Leno and Seinfeld just to name a few. I wish I a camera with me. This thing was beautiful.
If anyone is interested in the car and have 300k lying around give them a call. No affiliation! Just Slant Nose Envy!

50-60k MAX. 300k for what? It's not even all that rare a car. The slantnose option adds maybe 10k to the car and the 89 adds maybe another 5-10k. Low mileage, Ok, but not 300k.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but 300K for that car when the 959 is now US approved.
I have to agree with Geoffrey, the car might go for a premium, but I would think the mid 50s to high 60s if you are a collector.
The dealership is smoking crack if they expect to get 300K.

I came across an 89 Turbo with only 450 miles in Boca. Perfect condition, serviced yearly, kept in storage. Granted it did not have the slant nose, but that 930 was going for $58,000. I was tempted till I figured what would be involved for me to get it into drivable condition. $300K is way to high a price...
