Road Trip- Perma-grin
Found an excuse to make a quick Solo road trip yesterday-Stopped looking at the TT in the garage, packed in some cds and hit the road. Left lower CT at 11:30 am and headed to our place In Bethel Maine- 350 miles each way. Picked up some stuff, took a swim, had a good dinner and headed back home. Arrived back home at 12:30 am.
Are all the roads in the Northeast (or the country for that matter) under construction? Lots of traffic on the way up, but pretty clean run back. Plenty of opportunity to run quickly and as stealth as a Guards Red TT can do. Didnt see another TT (or any 911 for that matter), just a few boxsters. I guess they dont see a lot of 993 TTs in Maine, becasue every time I take it there, its amazing how many thumbs up signs I get- pedestrians, guys hanging out of there cars etc- For all you guys (and gals) with the garage queens, go drive them! The only result is Perma-grin!!
