Dare I ask what both bumpers cost shipped to US?

And does this mean no more Turbo R conversions?.... at least in the short term?

Just got a reply from Ruf germany. No stock on shifter, e brake or ruf ducts. I'm still hoping for someone to be able to do the R engine upgrade in the future. Front bumper is 3300 and rear 2700. And a LOT of hours to make them fit.

Wow, that's some serious coin for bumpers! (Totally worth it by the way)

Expensive, yes! You probably know all about it! How is the interior coming together? Totally worth it! Puts a smile on my face every time I get to drive these cars!

Interior is done, but still no car yet... Something is drawing on the battery and it won't hold the charge overnight. So working on finding the gremlin until the RS panels get in. USPS is SLOW!

Your car is really coming together though, especially after some personal touches. Keep it up!

Thanks, but really like the look of the fog delete ducts from better bodies. Ordered them
Yesterday. Hopefully I can get the bumpers to paint by the end of the week so I can enjoy the car after the elk hunt this week.

Just bought a set of 996 bucket seats, seen a few people here that painted the plastic pieces ext color which I really like. I"m looking into changing the leather to Nomex and if that doesn't work I'll try to do the seat and back cushion in alcantara?
Has anyone done this?
Car is coming back from paint tuesday next week.

A little update, car is back in my garage. Still not 100% happy with fitment of rear bumber. Have a little rub right rear. I absolutely love the look of the bumpers and the front ducts... and tomorrow I'll install the 996 buckets. (cant't wait) Had the paint guy spray the plastic pieces same as the bumpers.

I would really appreciate some help concerning the install of the 996 buckets in 993. I did get them installed but the problem is that I can't get them far enough back. Maybe I need some different sliders? I'll try to post some pictures from the computer.

Is it possible that the installer didn't use the furthest bolts? I know my seat rails had a few options and I wanted them on the furthest setting. Sorry I can't be more help, but good luck!

Thanks, the installer was me, so unfortunately I can't blame anyone else So I flattened the 996 sliders and mounted in furthest holes! Love the look of the seats but would like them a little further back and slightly tilted backwards.
