niceish car, but the price is flat out retarded for a 143,000 mile salvage car.

$75k?

Actually in my neck of the woods and kinda interested to find out more…but yeah that price is absolutely ridiculous! Guess he saw the 993 price spike and thought he'd jump on as well. Hmmmmm-Salvage title, high mileage, mulitple accidents, and not even close to stock, not even sure if half of asking price is fair for that car

The guy is selling a modified 993TT engine that has been tracked with a damages tub. We all know modding a 993TT engine is expensive and reliability goes with budget...

What is the saying? Money, budget and reliability. You get to control only two of the three variables.

Hmmm..

What's the difference btwn money & budget? If you have no money there's no need to budget. :-)

I remember this car. It was being sold by Oklahoma foreign about 6-7 years ago for about 39k with no accidents but a salvage due to the interior fire. If this sells for top dollar imagine what it will do for the rest of us. I'm subscribed.

I expect price is attempt to recoup what was spent, not sure the market is there yet.

Bet it is fun to drive though. If someone bought it and was willing to stay with t for the next 10-15yrs they'd be ok. I'm sure our cars given enough time will be super sought after and today's frenzy will seem like nothing. I have a feeling they'd deal on the price. If I'm them why the hell not try and get that kind of money. The 993 market is a bit nuts right now.

Suspect buyer would be someone who already has a 'nice' 993 turbo and this would be the 'driver'. I'd consider it, take mine back to stock.. The problem with buying a modded car is that most of the fun is the journey, we often see cars for sale shortly after all the mods - or the owner didn't really like the mods/not happy with the loss of drivability. Little rich I'd agree though, at that milage it's going to need a through going through, suspension components/wheel bearings/trans/anything that is a wear item, I'd think
