Thats crazy....Why isn't the 964s and 993s showing the same type of chart?????
I suspect just a function of the cars in their database. 964 and 993 are too 'new' to figure significantly in their risk pools, so they aren't seeing the data. All aircooled cars really seem on the march to varying degrees. Early 930s have basically doubled in a year. Magnus Walker effect? aging boomers? I dunno, but it is an important car in auto history so deserves the attn IMHO
The entire collector car market is in a bit of a frenzy. Check out the Hagerty Insurance valuation charts for the 930s, claiming 30-40% appreciation in the last quarter of 2013. http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtool...ort?vc=1276191
They don't show anything like that for the 964 turbos, and the 993 is too new, but I have to think the increase is roughly commensurate.
Check out the prices on early swb 911's....it's crazy.
