Default Riv Blue TT at Sloan

I orginally looked at this car when it was sold by Newport Beach Porsche at the time it had approximately 5,000 miles on the clock and was bone stock except for some tacky chrome wheels...my how it has changed...

I just received the email notice from Sloan on this car as well.

Any idea of the price?

It was listed on the PCA classifieds by the owner for $120k. We shall see what Sloan's mark up is for consignment.

That is actually somewhat less than I would have guessed.

That car is owned by a member here and I am trying to remember his handle. He lives in CT.

Below is the link to a prior posting when I was looking at it ...

Could imagine what $$ they put in this.

But it started life as Riveria blue? What a rare and beautiful color that was waaay ahead of it's time...I would have left it alone. (my humble unsolicited $.02)

I am pretty sure his handle was similar to the license plate on the car, but I cannot seem to find him on the board anymore.

I also didn't see it listed in PCA anymore but that just might be because I am search challenged.

the first thing i would do with this car is put the exterior back to stock.
install stock wheels
remove decals
remove wing

Not sure how I feel about the current seats. Probably would want sport backs and no roll bar OR a set of Recaros from a RS.

Rare car and a lot of fun

Andial parts, Ruf bits, RS sticker (but turbo?..really). All coveted by themselves but smashed together like this will take a "special" buyer. And all over that original rare color....it would be worth more w/o all the mods.

Heck..lose the wing, wheels, graphics, alum trim around the gauges and seats. In its place...RUF wheels,RUF front bumper, factory wing, factory sport seats(or rs seats) and RUF rear bumper. If not my next choice is GT2 conversion(without graphics) and wide BBS wheels.

Too much fun to return to stock
