Default 959 etc. at Caffeine and Carburetors

I got a couple of cell phone pictures at a local car show this morning. The 959 was great. I parked next to it for comparison. The 964 Turbo S looked good, too. Also, for those of you interested in the market, I was offered 250k for my car by a dealer in attendance. The same guy had offered me 200k earlier this year.

Is there no limit to 993 Twin Turbo and Twin Turbo S prices? I think mine is appreciating at the rate of about a grand a month!

Just wondering if this was a certain dealer in Conn who has quite a few other Turbo S and very low mileage cars for sale? Also was the 94 a flat nose? I prefer the Turbo S non flat nose- though I really wouldn't complain. It's great to see the 993 TTs next to the 959. Basically an apology for not bring the 959 to America.

I saw that car last week and it is not a flat nose. It's Sloan's - you can see his business cards on the wipers. Beautiful car.

My thoughts as well. Regardless, an awesome turnout. Was this in Hartford?

You were offered $250K for a 993 TT S ?

How many miles on it?

Yes, and it has almost 32k miles. You might say I'm crazy for not taking it, but I'd just go looking for another one if I sold it, and probably end up in the same place after a lot of headaches. Plus, the car ia pretty much perfect. I've seen a lot of cars with under 10k that are in worse physical shape. So why sell.

That's great news! I have 48,000 miles on one and 25,000 exactly on the other. I can't get enough Turbo S! All I need is a 94!

Great side by side comparison. Anyone know why the 959 fixed spoiler did not make the transition into later models ? Was it flawed somehow, or too expensive from a design perspective ? I have always loved the way it looked.

Ruf used a similar spoiler on the CTR-2. I think the reason Porsche chose not to continue using it had to do with retaining the classic 911 profile.
