i refreshed mine also but keep black colour, i use paint spray with high temperature paint.
on my side i will surely do the engine cooler wheel when it will be dismantle (just a small red thing inside engine bay)

Mine is being painted now. Gloss black. I ordered the proper Mobil1 decal to replace the original.
