Yes...Gert's covers at Carnewel's (gert@carnewal.com) is the best I've owned...and had lots of them. It is black with a nice large logo on the hood - soft inside and easy to pull over and tuck underneath the car...really nice product.

DoninDen, be sure to check out AUTOMOTION and sign up for email and wait for a coupon on 15 or 20% off. Cheaper than even sunset parts. I went for the outdoor fitted cover which is OEM. Even without the coupon they should be cheaper than everyone else, at least they were 3 years ago.

I received my cover from Gert (gert@carnewal.com), it's a nice product and it fits very well (along with mirrors and spoiler pockets). I ordered the burgundy color.

Here are some pics.

Pierre.

Is this an indoor type of cover or can it be used outdoors as well?

+1, this model is indoor only. You can drop an email to Gert to see if they have a outdoor model (I mean for 993tt and outdoor).

An outdoor model will be different than this one. I had an OEM outdoor model for a 964, fabric obviouly was different but there was also eyelets on the side (to tie the cover under the car, with a rope). See picture attached (964 model, outdoor).

Not to hijack the thread but why would you want a cover if your car's in a private garage? Can't admire the mistress all covered up, scratches, mice like 'em.......

Dust stick after about a week, even if you drive it, dust stay. I put the cover on if it sit for more than a few days, therefore I can last a long time without washing it. I still prefer driving than washing.

Also for winter storage. For the same reason (dust) and because there a lot of in/out in the garage, carrying winter stuff (ski, snowboards, etc)

Having the right model was important to me. Easy install, otherwise you don't put it on often and the car get dusty. Perfect fit, logo and color have nothing practical, but it make me happy.

+1 Gert - These covers are made in Italy and are absolutely first rate. I always use one over the winter.
