SY 993 Twin Turbo at Canepa
#47
I live nearby to Canepa's shop, and get over there about once a month for his "Cars and Caffeine" car gatherings. I know nothing about him personally, but his shop, sales floor, and museum are absolutely incredible. He does a LOT of very high-end restorations in his immaculate shop. Let me know if anyone wants a car inspected, and I'll be happy to stop by with my camera. I'm not any kind of an expert, just an enthusiast.

I got a voicemail too. I was starting to think my money wasn't green.
One of the best cars I've seen. I'm pointing a good friend to contact him about the car. I'm keeping mine and going to enjoy it, try not to look back.

The car is gorgeous. I just looked at it Saturday. The shop is loaded getting ready for Monterey. I think Sean said 4 or 5 cars are going to Pebble, and numerous cars going to the track.
993TT hadn't been serviced according to Sean, tires and a few other things are being done. I am sure they will do all services and upgrades and add the 996 sump scavenge lines.
The 1st Duesenburg is almost completed and getting ready for Pebble Beach. Truly amazing.
The weekend before at Cars and Coffee, Bruce drove the L&M 917/10 down the street and onto the freeway to make sure the car was creating boost. Unbelievable!
Quite the collection of cars and history in that building. The Le Man winning 935 was there also getting ready for Pebble Beach or Quail I can not remember.

Of course you were told the car hadn't been serviced yet? As I was told.
I noticed you were 1st respond to this 993 fix sight.

I heard the car is sold anyway, and will be serviced as was my car when I purchased from Bruce.
I imagine you just lost your invitation to cars and coffee Arena Red Ruf guy.

I agree with Carrera73 your invitation to Cars and Coffee is probably going to be lost in the mail.
I understand why Bruce hasn't got on here to defend himself, no defense against ******** from your home town.

Guess that would explain the car hasn't been serviced yet as most everyone else on here has said.

So, I'm an ******* for pointing out there is a oil smoke issue with this car? I went to view the car for another Rennlister, and I would have been remiss to NOT point this out to him as a potential problem.
I repeat... this car is absolutely PERFECT in every respect. The paint needs a good polish, and this oil smoke issue needs to be addressed. Period.
