Default 997 Seats

Does anyone know of the possibilty of using 997 sport adaptive seats in a 993. Just trying to see if anyone has done the install and what it involves. Not sure if a correct connection can be adapted to get the electrical portion of the seats to work. Presently have supple leather standard 8 way drivers and passenger seats. Wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone has put 997 (electric) seats in their 993 and how hard it was. Still not sure if I want to jump into Recaro PP's for the 20% of the time that I use my car on the track. Don't want to lose the amenities of nice seats for the 80% of the time I'm not on the track. Thanks in advance for any help. Take care

I have had them in several of my 993s. My current 993 had them installed and I swapped for Cobra Misanos. They look great, fit and feel is great.

Pat, Texas993 has them in his 993TT R. There is a How-To around here somewhere.

Thank you. I just wanted to see if it's possible or feisible to do it without to much involvement in the original wiring for the electric seats.

It's my understanding its not complicated. I know 2-3 guys on here I can connect you with to answer your questions if you go that route.

Yep, I have had them for a couple of years. But, to be simple, get the manual seats from a GT3. She back and forth movement is manual, but the recline is power. That is easy to hook up to the 993. Good luck with full power, heated, active etc.

DC automotive has some for sale in the for sale section, but they can be purchased in the $2k range.
