What did you do to fix the problem?
Sounds good.

There was a bunch of work done on my car all at once, but I think stopping the oil drips (and clean up of the heat exchangers) solved the issue. So,, reseal cam chain covers and upper and lower valve covers.

Not sure if you posted the pics of your car over here, but if not, you should do! (Here's one from the 993 forum.)

Amazing

That's a beautiful car. Slate grey is killer and the aesthetic/functional mods look really well balanced. My car is merely good now. The wheels are interesting I wonder how they would look on a black car and maybe in another color.

Regarding smells. Just going by some previous topics I've read (perhaps not oil) - catless cars I've heard can smell pretty intense. Also there is the gas smell that can come from the fuel connections under the frunk. When I turn on the heat in my car I get kind of an oil smell. The OP's case is a bit mysterious to me.

Just back from a 2500 mile road trip and the only smell was from the ticket I got in the Panhandle on the way up to Santa Fe.

How fast? Come on, tell us! Triple digets?

Even before my lower valve cover gasket needed replacement, the cabin did not smell from anything.

Check the condition of your heat exchanges too.

Just wait for the putrid smell of the insurance premium rise coming in the mail.

But it was fun right?

Lucky for me it was 93 in a 75....I had been running a little higher a few miles before. The officer was pretty nice..I had a LA. State Troopers Assoc visor cap , and when he saw it asked if I was a Trooper..I thought about saying that I was a retired Trooper but did not want anything to escalate from there...I just said I supported them...He mentioned that they would be patrols all weekend up to the New Mexico line...and to be aware...and they were...On the way back I kept it slow because I did not want another ticket in the same area.

So hard to drive these cars at the posted limit. It took a lot of right foot discipline.
