Me no likey chrome either, but the options are pretty sparse these days. In Porsche's eyes, you can either have chrome and the wrong script (the superseded 996 part) or you can have chrome and the correct script (the 964t 3.6 part). Sometimes you have to go with the lesser of two evils.

I used the Turbo S emblem without the S. Its a dark silver gun metal color. It is also a better starting point if you want to re-spray the emblem. Lastly, its $40 cheaper than the chrome version.
